This will be a 90 minute weekly co-ed closed group for up to 12 people 16+ years old. This group will be held Thursdays 4pm-5:30pm for 8 weeks beginning March 7th.
Although grief can apply to many different types of loss, this group will be most appropriate for people who have lost a loved one by death at any point in their life and continue to heal through grief.
Psychoeducation, process, and mindfulness skill-building will be used to cope with the experience of grief and loss. Yoga, art, Qi Gong, and/or other creative and movement outlets will also be a part of each session. No previous mindfulness or yoga experience required; modifications will be made, so appropriate for all levels of physical abilities.
