Group Panel Application: 2021 Middle Ground Book Festival
Application window: April 15 - May 15.
Only one panelist needs to submit on behalf of their group.
Panels will be pre-recorded during the month of July and uploaded to our YouTube channel on August 7-8.
Diversity is a priority for Middle Ground Book Fest. Panels should be a diverse group of 3-5 participants. Please make sure all panelists have agreed to participate before submitting an application.
Author panelists must have MIDDLE GRADE books published before or during 2021.
Author panels should ideally include at least one educator and/or librarian.
Friendly reminder: we will consider every single application, but filling out this form isn't a guarantee of participation. Approved panelists will be notified via email in June by the MGBF team.
Please write a ONE SENTENCE pitch explaining the topic of your group panel.
Panels should be a diverse group of 3-5 participants that may include: published middle grade authors, book reviewers, librarians, educators, and industry professionals. Please list your participants and their email addresses. For authors, include titles and publishers of books they are promoting.
Does your panel include an educator and/or librarian? (If not, we will help you find one.)
Does your panel include a moderator? (If not, we will provide one for you.)
Thank you for your application!
We look forward to reviewing your pitch and will be back to you sometime in June. For updates and announcements in the meantime, keep following the MGBF team on social media! If you have any questions, please email us at
