MAREN Workshop Application Form
The Milkweed Adaptation Research and Education Network (MAREN) invites you to apply for our summer 2022 workshop.  
>The orientation for all participants will take place virtually on June 27 via zoom.  
>Ongoing participants will select an in-person half-day field component on June 29, at St. Olaf college (Northfield, MN) or at a research hub (see section 2 of this form). June 28 is available as a travel day.  
>A final debrief and data discussion on June 30 may occur virtually or in-person.

Review of applications will begin March 30, with notifications going out in early April.  Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis thereafter until spaces are filled.  Please contact Emily Mohl (mohl@stolaf.edu) with any questions.

We aim to bring together a diverse pool of educators that are committed to engaging diverse learners in data collection, inquiry, and reflection.

We expect participants will share their expertise and experience with each other, modify educational materials to serve their learners, provide feedback to organizers, and share their ideas/products with the community.

Do you have technological resources necessary to attend the virtual portion of the workshop?
We expect to hold the workshop via Zoom.  If you do not have the necessary resources, we may be able to accommodate participation at a research hub site.

Drop In participants join the virtual orientation day but make no further commitment. Ongoing participants participate in the entire workshop, commit to implementing data collection with learners, and are eligible for stipends and travel reimbursement. Spaces for Ongoing participants are limited; those who are not selected may choose to attend as a Drop In participant.
