Local EMP Chapters are the the backbone of the National Emerging Museum Professional Network. We rely on chapters to not only organize people in their local communities, but to share information and connect individuals across the country. Due to the important role EMP chapters play, and NEMPN’s investment in each chapter’s success, we have outlined leadership requirements that should allow the freedom to act grassroots locally while still establishing some set national standards. These leadership requirements are the same for newly established chapters and new leaders taking over chapters already in existence.
