Matthew 20:28 in The Message says, "This what the Son of Man has done: He(Jesus) came to serve, not to be served...and then to give away His life in exchange for the many who are held hostage." It was His heart to serve others and it should be ours as well!
Here is a list of the ways you can serve:
Parking Lot
You will be the first contact for anyone attending Cross Point Church. Your responsibilities include helping people park, assisting those with special needs, providing umbrella service when it's raining, and most importantly greeting each person with a smile and a welcome!
Door Greeters
This area is very simple...greet people as they enter CPC. Smiles, handshakes, and hello's are a must! Greeters make sure each person and direct guests to desired locations on our campus.
Ushers
Ushers greet people as they enter and leave our service auditorium. They are available to assist in finding seats for guests and help in taking up the morning offerings.
Children's Ministry
If you love kids and love sharing Jesus with them then Children's Ministry is the place for you! There are three areas to serve in on Sunday Mornings: Nursery, Pre-K and WOW Kidz.
Wednesday nights: Catalyst (1st - 6th grades).
Creative Arts & Media Ministry
Lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by creating an exciting environment to worship in. This ministry allows people to use the gifts God has blessed them with in a variety of ways. Sound, Lighting, Computer, Camera and Video Work, Set Building and Design.
Cafe
In the Cafe you get to make people smile with great food, coffee, and drinks! Responsibilities include pre-service prep, maintaining food and drinks, cleaning up, and making people feel welcome!
CPC Youth Ministry
Wednesday nights: 7th - 12th grades. We need help in the kitchen cooking or serving dinner for the kids, enforcing safety and supervision, tech booth, and just loving on our youth as a positive influence in their lives.
