The Let's Roll MPS is a FREE, slow-paced group bicycle ride that celebrates bicycling in our school district, the beauty of Minneapolis and the joy in our connections to each other. Our mission in MPS Culinary & Wellness Services is to nurture ALL children through access to quality food and active living. The Let’s Roll embodies our commitment to active living: This event brings together important aspects of good health and happiness - healthy eating, regular physical activity, and community connections.

3PM - 5PM
3100 East 28th Street, Minneapolis

This ride starts and ends at Sullivan and Anishinabe playground (3100 East 28th Street Minneapolis)
This Let's Roll MPS is an inclusive ride in partnership with Sullivan Steam Magnet and Anishinabe Academy.

Volunteers Needed
School bike groups make up the majority of the riders in this event, and volunteers are essential to making sure this event is fun and safe for everyone--so thank you for being willing to share your time and talents. Biking groups from many different schools bike to the event -- and then we bike together in one, long 200+ biker "bike parade" on a loop (less than 4 miles) through the neighborhoods. We end back at the playground for food and celebration.

There are biking and non-biking roles. Bike along roles do not take any special skills should be a fun gig. There will be an optional (but strongly recommended) pre-ride training before the ride for on-bike volunteers on Mon. Sept 29 at 3PM at the event location. All MPS staff participation will earn Vitality points.

If you are unable to volunteer, please still plan to attend! Everyone is invited--staff, students, families, and community! Bring your own bicycle and helmet.

Are you an MPS staff and you have a group of students to bring? Please fill out this form
