Delta Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. was founded on December 5, 1998 at the University of Georgia Athens. Over the past 20 years, Delta Phi Lambda has transformed into an organization that spans across the Southeast, East Coast, and the Midwest! In 2009, Delta Phi Lambda made its way to Michigan and established the Iota Chapter at Grand Valley State University. Here, we are GVSU's first and only Asian-Interest - but not Asian-exclusive! - Sorority.

Delta Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. is nationally recognized for our philanthropic work with Osteoporosis Awareness and Prevention as well as the positive impact we make on our respective communities. We focus on personal growth and building strong leadership skills throughout our undergraduate experiences to foster professional opportunities after graduation. We strive to empower women and breakdown stereotypes, while embracing the diverse cultures within our communities. The Iota Chapter has regularly won the GVSU Greek Life's Chapter of Excellence Award. We pride ourselves in the abilities of our small, close-knit Chapter and that our organization can offer women a home away from home.

The Dedicated Female Leaders of DPhiL uphold 7 Virtues: Loyalty, Honesty, Respect, Dedication, Integrity, Discipline, and Academic Excellence. In addition, we advocate Asian Awareness and forge an Everlasting Sisterhood through each of our diverse, shared experiences.
