Lead research and development of keyword targeting strategies in each content category. Optimize existing content and identify new opportunities. Work closely with the editorial team to advise in the development of content for the execution of our strategy. Conduct technical audits of the site. Ensure site structure and pages are optimized to attract and engage those visitors that match the profile of the target audience. Work closely with the product and tech teams to execute your recommendations. Monitor and maintain site health by tracking inbound links, 404 errors, broken external and internal links, and Googlebot crawl frequency. Set, and work to, key performance indicators for SEO that everyone understands and which complement overall business strategy. Draw actionable insights from data to iterate and improve performance of SEO strategies and campaigns. Provide timely, accurate and effective reporting of opportunities and performance. Ensure all new & existing product developments are optimized for search. Constantly identify and implement on-page optimizations. Lead education sessions on SEO for the editorial and other members of the team. Formulate and execute link building strategies to generate natural, white-hat links to PureWow Track keyword rankings to communicate wins and react proactively to rankings that drop.
This role will be measured on growth of referrals from organic search.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in analysis for data-driven content strategies in search for a B2C media brand.
