Bookworms Early Literacy
A Spring Session to enjoy a mix of indoor and outdoor invitations to play, stories, songs and time to play with or alongside other kids!

WPL has hired a wonderful new person for Youth Services. She was worth the wait! However, she will not move back to the area and begin work until June. Thank you for your patience and working with us as we adopt what we hope will be a fun spring alternative after this strange year. Ms. Jill is looking forward to return to leading Bookworms for one more season (while there are a whole lot of other projects happening behind the scenes)!

5 week series (due to April break)
Monday, April 25th - Monday, May 23rd.
Ages 3-4
Potty Training/Bathroom use is unique to each child. WPL staff may not help your child use the bathroom, but can reach out to the parent/caregiver on site if your child needs assistance.

Meeting Mondays: 11 am - Noon.
Caregiver/Parent must stay on WPL property, but will have the opportunity to give their child independence as it situationally fits. Some children may not be ready in this short session. Others will relish it! Please wear clothes and shoes that can be easily played in and are appropriate for the weather. Your child may have their own version of this, and that is fine with us as long as it is fine with you!

Unique to this session:
Thursdays 11 am - Noon: Optional Play/Socialization time.
Caregiver/Parent should be present with the child. But can allow them space to play and explore with others.
Ms. Jill is not available for a dedicated session. But IS available to interact, check out books, set up materials, and see the children. If parents wish to continue this meet up time after the 5 weeks, they are more than welcome to!
