Volunteer Opportunities...
Willing Spirits -  Flexible. Choose from various needs throughout the year.
Help with short term projects on an as-needed basis. You'll be added to a list and notified when a need arises. This volunteer opportunity offers the most flexibility as you can volunteer only when you're available.
Student Registration:  August 12-13, 2021. Different days and shifts are available.
Over 200 volunteers assist students in the registration process. We need lots of help to ensure all families have a positive, smooth, and efficient registration day. Consider this as a great opportunity to connect with fellow parents and get tips and ideas about navigating the high school years.
Dances - Homecoming Dance is October 16, 2021- Spring Dance is March 3, 2022. There are a variety of morning and evening shifts available.
Decorate (before dance), check-in/check-out students (during dance), set up /serve/clean up refreshments.
Senior Celebration -  Weekend of April 9, 2022. Adult Planners Wanted.
Senior Celebration 2022– Volunteer parents are needed from all grade levels as over 300 parents are needed to make this amazing event special for our seniors. Whether you want a small role or love event planning, learn more about creating this unbelievable party. We have lots of opportunities: working the games, helping in the kitchen, coordinating volunteers, checking in students, and creating photo collages. School Store throughout the year
Staff the School Store where students can purchase school supplies, spiritwear and other NNHS items. Before school from 7:00 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. and/or during lunch periods 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Historian Committee - You pick times and volunteer from home
Clip newspaper articles celebrating “any-and-all things-NNHS” to submit to a scrapbook displayed in the front office.
Coffee with the Principal
Informal conversations in the evening with the principal in the Learning Commons at NNHS. Dates to be determined.
Refreshment Donor - Throughout the year
Donate store-bought snacks for school events & Literacy Center as needed.
Teacher Breakfasts -  October 6, 2021 and March 14, 2022
Set up, serve and clean-up the catered breakfast for teachers before Parent-Teacher conferences. Early morning shifts.
Vision & Hearing Screening -  October 15, 19, and 29th.
Help with some paperwork and ushering students.  Both dates will have morning and afternoon shifts available.
Blood Drives -  November 2021 and February 2022 drives.  Morning & afternoon shifts available.
Register donors, serve snacks, and help as needed. 
EKG Screening- October 28, 2021
Over 200 volunteers needed the day of screening with multiple shifts available. EKG screening occurs every other year for students.
Family Connection- flexible
This committee seeks to meet the essential needs of NNHS families facing hardships by providing temporary support. Volunteers can make donations or help find ways to meet the needs of these families. This committee seeks to make an impact when it's needed most. Help where you can and learn more by clicking below.
Tour Guide- flexible
Show your Huskie pride by giving tours to prospective Huskie families around Naperville North. You'll receive training and then use a detailed script to usher parents and/or new students around the school highlighting all NNHS offers.
Parent Guide - Work from home, focus is May till June
Update/edit Parent Guide and other publications as needed.
Mailings - 4 times per year
Four (4) opportunities per year - February, April (Cap & Gown), and July 2022 (twice) Assemble various packets for mailing to parents. Dates and times to be determined. Help is always needed.
