Welcome to Rancho Tsunami Water Polo Club!
We are very excited to have both you and your athlete's interest in a new and exciting sport. Water Polo is the fastest growing sport in the USA. RTWPC is a nationally ranked USA Water Polo that opened its doors just a few years ago in 2017 and has quickly escalated to the fastest growing club in all of the United States. We attribute our growth to the passion and dedication of our staff who are all highly knowledge in the sport, but as well certified in SafeSport, background checked, and CPR/First Aide certification. All staff have been vetted by our governing body, USA Water Polo Inc.

Understanding Which Program is for Your Athlete:
Splashball is a swimming lessons based program with a water polo components introducing athletes to the sport of water polo. Splashball is conducted in the shallow end of our facilities (3-4ft.). Splashball serves athletes ages 5-8 years old. This is a non-competitive program.

Academy is the equivalent to Splashball for athletes ages 9-14. The athlete is eligible at the ages of 9-14 to join a competitive team when they "graduate" from the Academy program. This program is primarily aimed at the objective of preparing the athlete to move into their competitive age group's A (Blue) or B (Black) team. This is a great way to ease into competitive water polo without being surrounded by experienced players. This program should not be confused with a recreational/city run program. Our goal is to grow athletes who are as passionate about water polo as we are!

NOTE:
RTWPC is a private organization and retains the right to refuse service to any athlete. Please do not sign up if your athlete has an excessive/irrational fear of the water or separation anxiety. While we understand little ones have fear of the water at young ages, this is not the path to accustom them to the pool. Criers, "runners", or fearful athletes will be removed and parents will be recommended to swimming lessons institutions (no refunds will be issued).

Session Timeline:
* "Sessions" are bi-weekly (twice a week) and are billed on a session-to-session basis.
* Athletes may graduate (Academy) any time instructor deems them prepared for their appropriate age group.
* Classes are first come, first serve and are limited to 10 athletes per group (Splashball). Duration 30 minutes
* In the event numbers are not met, or if there is overflow, sessions can be merged. Please be flexible on your schedule just in case.
