Making Brain Health Matter: Advocacy for a Critical Election

Speak up directly to the people asking for your vote.

As headlines focus on trade wars and economic uncertainty, there’s a real risk that the critical issue of brain health and research will be sidelined.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Evidence for Democracy to offer a free, hands-on virtual advocacy workshop, where you'll gain real-world framing strategies to ensure brain health is front and centre in the election conversation.

Whether you're a researcher, trainee, clinician, health advocate, or someone who believes science should shape policy, this workshop is designed for you.

You'll learn how to:

  • Frame brain research in ways that resonate with decision-makers
  • Connect brain health to the issues Canadians care about most, including healthcare, jobs, and the economy
  • Use advocacy tools—including CBRS’s Vote 4 Brain Health campaign—to raise your voice and mobilize others.
We’ll also walk you through our letter-writing tool so you can take action on the spot.
