It's that time again! Please join the Barrio Logan Association, Early Academic Outreach Program at UC San Diego & CREATE at UC San Diego for the 2026 Barrio Logan Science & Art Expo.

The 2026 Barrio Logan Science & Art Expo will incorporate interactive science shows and demonstrations provided by UC San Diego, local artists, and other community partners (hopefully you too!), as well as live  performances, and plenty of art stations.

Some examples of demonstrations confirmed include exploration of engineering/physics behind low-riders and various exhibits that bring together science, art, and culture!

We invite you to get creative, come out, and help highlight the science behind some of the interactions we experience and see daily in our San Diego communities! Thank you for your interest in joining us and sharing some of your excitement, knowledge, and passion for science by hosting an interactive station or presenting a brief lesson.

We welcome all activities that can be used to educate our community in any field of science, technology, engineering, math, and art.

This event is designed to inspire and engage the community in STEAM.  Activities and booths should be interactive and provide the opportunity for hands-on learning, ranging from pre-K to adults.
