Thank you for your interest in SCPA performers. Please understand that we receive a lot of requests for student performers and are only able to fulfill those requests that work with our faculty, student, and repertoire needs. We will try to fulfill your request, but may not have a student or performance group available for your date. Requests must be made at least 6 weeks prior to the event date to be considered. Requests made less than 6 weeks before the event will not be considered.
Pay for Artists
It is important that our school upholds an ethic of paying artists for their work. We do ask that anyone requesting student performers also make some form of payment to the student or school performance group performing at their event. For solo or duo student performances, payments of $100-$200 are customary and may be paid directly to the student. For small ensembles to full-sized choir performances, payments of $300-$500 are customary and may be paid to the student activity group involved. These monies will be wholly applied to the specific student or activity group account. They are not used as general funds for the school.
