CAC Board of Directors Application
The Carnegie Art Center is seeking volunteer leaders to join its dynamic board of directors to help live out its mission: To be a vibrant community destination that inspires, nurtures, and expands artistic, cultural, and educational experiences. Board members are actively engaged in organizational governance. Expectations include membership at any level in the Carnegie Art Center, attending monthly board meetings, participating in at least one board committee, supporting CAC sponsored activities, assisting with fundraising endeavors, and helping to cultivate member, donor, and community relationships.

Connections in our communities of color, cultural groups, business associations, and area foundations will strengthen our governing board. The Carnegie Art Center Board needs a variety of skills, with a strong emphasis on accounting, legal, fundraising, and marketing expertise. An awareness of and connections to the broader arts community, both geographically and demographically would be beneficial in expanding our audience.

The first board meeting of the new fiscal year, July 18th, will include officer elections. Those interested in board service can find more information about the Carnegie Art Center at
