By completing this application, you will be considered for one of the RMICC American Indian Scholarships. We have multiple scholarships at various award levels. An independent group of readers will review and evaluate your application. Selected recipients should make every effort to attend the American Indian Scholars Gala Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Denver Tech Center Marriott, Denver CO to accept your scholarship.
Student must be American Indian (enrolled member of a current or terminated Federal/State Tribe) and able to provide documentation, Tribal Enrollment card, OR official letter from tribe stating membership or Indian Blood
Preferred (not required) GPA of 2.5 or higher on 4.0 scale
Enrolled full time at an accredited college in Colorado
If a Senior in high school, proof of enrollment at an accredited College in Colorado
Two (x2) recommendation letters (not to exceed 250 words) –excluding immediate family members
Submit application, supporting documentation by deadline.
Must be submitted via online application process for time stamp. Any incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications received after deadline will also not be considered.
Participant may be required to participate in phone interview (not to exceed 30min)
Winners will be notified by Friday September 22 via Phone and/or email

Submitting headshot/photo and bio by Friday September 29
Attend Gala to accept award. Tickets for recipient plus guest provided. Students needing to travel more than 60miles receive special consideration for exemption or assistance.
Submit Alumni stories for follow up on your success!
* Scholarship funds will be awarded at Gala, Saturday October 27 , via form of check. Students may be required to submit documentation of receipt on site.
