All orchestra students in the Amherst Orchestra program and families are invited to attend an orchestra social next Wednesday, October 9th, from 5:00-6:30pm at AJH in the Cafeteria. At the social, we will discuss future plans for the orchestra, revealing of our logo for polos, and tee shirt design. We will also be announcing some new partnerships with local universities. There will be orchestra games with some awesome prizes as well! Oh, and there will be food and drinks (I believe Pizza will be served)! This social event is optional, so if you cannot make it it is okay! Any announcements made will also be sent home with your child on Thursday the 10th.
We are looking for parents that are interested in helping us start a boosters program. Please sign the clip board when you come in and put your information down so we can take the next steps in the process to provide additional opportunities for your child.
We would love to see you all there! We will be taking orders for our orchestra shirts at the event. We are still finalizing prices with our vendor, but we will send out information about the cost when we have come to an agreement.
