commitment : Two days a week , for five weeks , from 2pm - 5pm on Tuesday and Thursdays

Levels and description: 

• Level 1:

Groups that are admitted into Level 1 of this program will participate in sessions focused on demystification and introduction to basic essay writing skills.

Demystification sessions will include the following topics:

• The college selection process;

• Information on types of standardized tests (Please bear in mind that this is different from being given training on Standardized tests. You will be expected to refer to existing recorded videos as part of your standardized test training.)

• Briefing on the Common Application and other application forms;

• Application deadlines and decision dates (Early Decision, Regular Decision, Early Action etc…)

• Information on components of your application such as:

• Extracurricular activities;

• Courses, Grades, GPA and transcript;

• Personal Statement essay and Supplemental essays;

• Recommendation letters;

• Financial Aid;

• Visa Application Process.

 Sessions dealing with essay writing  will center around developing your writing skills through practice prompts, submitting short essays, watching videos and other relevant practices. 

• Level 2:

• Groups that are admitted into Level 2 of this program will have a more specific and intensive engagement with their common app essays and supplemental essays. This group will work closely with their instructors on developing well structured and informative essays in preparation for their college applications. It will have a more or less 1 : 6  instructors to students ratio. Instructors will have the opportunity to form closer connection with their students and get to know them well and their application in general to give them a more personalized assistance
