Remembrance Ceremonies 2019
Remembrance Day is an important time for Canadians to reflect on the sacrifices made by so many during the conflicts our military has been a part of. Cadets from 142 are required to attend at least one of the Remembrance events we take part in on Sunday, 10 November:
1. In the morning, we will attend the parade and ceremony at Legion Branch 643, 110 Jutland Rd. Cadets should meet at the Legion at 10:00 to form up. Parents and community members are encouraged to attend.
2. In the afternoon, we will conduct a parade in Mimico from John English School to the Vimy Parkette on Lakeshore. Cadets should meet at John English Community School at 13:30 to form up and march down to the park. Parents and community members are encouraged to attend the ceremony at the Vimy Parkette, 2546 Lake Shore Blvd W.
Additionally, 142 cadets may be selected to attend one of two Remembrance Ceremonies taking place on Monday, 11 November:
