Join AliefVotes, the Resilient Cities Network, and the National Wildlife Federation for a community build-day at the Alief Community Garden on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 10 AM to 12 PM.
This is a family-friendly day and we will have water and snacks. We recognize that this is a typical work day, so if your company wants hours or to bring a group out, please do. It will also be hot, so please prepare accordingly and bring sun screen, wear long pants, etc. Expect to get your hands dirty.
For this second build day, we will likely work on seeding, building a community picnic table, planting a tree next to the bench, and learning more about environmental initiatives in Alief through group activity.
