Register for Grades of Green's Fall 2019 Water Campaign - Reduce Plastic
Thank you for your interest in our Fall 2019 Water Campaign - Reduce Plastic! The Water Campaign is a semester-long, virtual program focused on reducing single-use plastics and the impact they have on water resources. It will launch in September 2019 and culminate in early December 2019. Campaigns are created for teams of 3+ students, ages 11-18 with at least one adult lead to supervise. Campaign Teams of students can come from schools, after-school clubs, community groups, and more. Each Campaign Team is paired with a Grades of Green Mentor to help promote a habit change or advocate to reduce single-use plastic in their school or community. Mentors will also support teams in creating a short pitch video and present their pitch to their school or community leaders. Student worksheets and pitch videos will be scored and viewing by the Grades of Green staff and a panel of environmental expert judges. The winning teams will receive Eco-Grants to fund their solution.
