Who the group is for: A creative group for those with lived experience of migration. Open to adults aged 18+ .

What will happen at the sessions: A weekly creative group to explore artistic expression. 

The experienced facilitators will lead the participants on a journey through physical theatre, movement and gesture, dance, acting and performance, poetry, and writing to explore their creativity and work with and alongside other adults in an open, friendly, and supportive weekly group. 

Information:

  • performance making sessions for adults who have experience of migration
  • Mondays 7pm-8.30pm
  • The sessions will be in English. Arabic and French are spoken by the facilitators. 
  • The sessions are free to attend. 
  • No theatre experience is necessary. Just an interest in exploring creative/artistic practices. 
  • A hot drink and snack will be provided.
  • All sessions will take place at Arcola Theatre, 24 Ashwin Street, Dalston, Hackney, London, E8 3DL
