Earn up to $300 making art work this summer!
Each teen will be paid after fully completing the first & second month of the program.
The Teen Apprenticeship Program is a space in which youth can explore ideas through the arts, develop conflict resolution skills, professionalism, and strong relationships with peers and mentors. Students will be matched with a mentor in a discipline of their choosing: music, fashion/textile design, graphic design painting/drawing, video, creative writing. The Teen Apprenticeship Program will serve 18 students, ages 13-22, who will attend Intersect for a total of 10 hours per week, June 6 - July 29, 2023 at Intersect Arts Center.
The program is a 2 month long commitment during the summer through the months of June and July. Required group and program meetings will be held Wednesday's 3-6pm at Intersect. This group meets at Intersect to work with art professionals, investigate current exhibitions, make art, plan an art exhibition and support each other on a journey of self-discovery. If you can't make the 3-6pm time work, please STILL APPLY and we will try to work something out with you!
