Free to Be Kids London Marathon 2027 Application

Hello,

Thank you for applying to run on behalf of Free to Be Kids. We're so excited to have 18 places available this year, with 12 places for the Sunday event (25th April 2027) and 6 for the new additional Saturday event (24th April 2027).

Applications for a place will close on Friday 17th July and we'll be reviewing and allocating applications as and when they are received, with final allocations taking place by Friday 24th July.

Please note that if you secure a place with us, you will be required to raise a minimum of £2,000 to take part in the race. To help us accurately assess your application, please answer the following question as honestly and fully as possible.

If you have any questions, please contact Daisy Mummery by emailing daisy@freetobekids.org.uk.

Are you committed to raising a minimum of £2,000+ for Free to Be Kids?

NB: As a small charity, it is important for us to at least have the cost of the place covered (£400) as well as raise valuable funds to support disadvantaged children's mental health. If participants do not raise enough to cover the cost of the place, we will ask them to subsidise the balance. Please bear in mind however, the expectation is to raise £2,000 not £400. We therefore will be selecting those we feel have the best chance of raising at least the minimum £2,000.

Does your place of work offer the opportunity for 'match funding'?

(Match fundraising means every pound is matched. So, if you raised £1,000 your employer would match your fundraising by giving you £1,000 and creating a total of £2,000.)
