Hottie Cooterati Event Assistant Application
We are looking for an enthusiastic, intelligent, hard working, professional individual to help out with upcoming events. We've been a one or two man show for a long time and we think it's time to add another body to the mix so that we can do more and do it better.
The job:
We're basically looking for a "Girl Friday" (or boy!). Someone who can take on a little bit of everything, usually the less intensive minutia of event planning. Keeping records, inviting people to groups, proofreading our applications and notecards, customer service, maintaining spreadsheets, distributing info, managing social media accounts, blogging, helping with event set-up, and pretty much anything else that comes up. You'll also be involved in brainstorming for events and with the actual conceptualization and implementation of concepts, so we're definitely looking for someone who isn't just organized and professional, but is also creative and eager to get his/her hands dirty. It sounds like a lot but it's usually one or two tasks at a time over several months, with one week of hectic stuff just before the event opens.
We are pretty casual about our communication with each other, so essentially we're looking for someone who can fit in with us on a personal level as well as a professional one, so personality is important! Please consider both professionalism and personality when filling out your application.
The ideal candidate is:
-CREATIVE!
-An experienced blogger
-Articulate with excellent grammar
-An excellent communicator

-Highly organized and able to multitask

-Has minimal obligations to other jobs
-A thick skin and laid back personality
-Knowledgeable of SL stores and creators
-HIGHLY proficient with Second Life tools
-Very well versed in Second Life events (how they work, which ones are happening, etc.)
-Strong presence on social media and strong understanding of it (i.e. - Facebook, Flickr, Plurk, Twitter, Tumblr, etc.)
