What you will need.
Plan to plant sagebrush/bitterbrush seedlings by hand. Training, tools, gloves, and planting equipment is provided. If you have a favorite planting tool like a small shovel or garden trowel, knee pads/kneeler, or favorite work gloves, bring them along! Seedling planting involves hiking, packing equipment, digging and bending over/kneeling to plant.

Please remember to dress for Spring weather. You will need to bring layered clothing and boots or sturdy shoes, hat, and sunscreen. It could be rainy, breezy and cool OR it could be sunny and warm. Volunteer activities are subject to change due to weather conditions.

Come prepared! You will need to bring a sack lunch and water for the day. Bring a day pack to hold your food and extra layers.

There are no restrooms at the planting site but volunteers can use the restrooms at the MK Nature Center before and after the planting. Transportation is available if you sign up for it. : )
