Measuring effectiveness and impact in workplace counselling and EAP settings

BACP Workplace is embarking on a programme to develop the profile of research and evaluation in the workplace counselling and EAP sectors. As part of this we are asking practitioners, managers and other stakeholders to tell us about their current practice in measuring the quality and effectiveness of their counselling and other therapeutic interventions.

This survey is being sent to BACP Workplace members, AUCC members, EAPA (UK) members, and members of the BACP Workplace LinkedIn forum. It should take between 8 - 12 minutes to complete. We would be most grateful for your contribution to helping us better understand current activity and respond to emerging needs in our sector.

CONFIDENTIALITY: The data in the form that you submit will be held securely and available only to the researcher contracted by BACP to carry out this research. Attributable personal or demographic data will not form part of any interim or final report and will not be made available to BACP staff or volunteers, unless you have given your explicit permission.

PLEASE NOTE:

At Question D4 below you will be asked to specify the primary role from which you are responding to the survey. Your response will determine which sections of the survey you are then asked to complete. If you occupy more than one role (e.g. practitioner and manager) you are welcome to complete an additional questionnaire to reflect different perspectives. At the end of the survey you will be given the option to submit a further response to enable this.
