Your company has been carefully selected to showcase the best barbecue and dessert brands in our region. There will be limited space for how many food vendors can sign up for this unique opportunity (due to the limited space on Troy Street).
By signing up as a Food Vendor you will NOT be entered into the Amateur KCBS BBQ Contest.
If you want to participate in the Amateur BBQ KCBS Contest and have not placed in the top ten in any KCBS event then please use the Amateur BBQ Team Entry form on
Participating company agrees to provide:
- 1000 + 2-4 oz. BBQ and or Dessert samples
- Can only accept BBQ Tokens.
- No cash or credit can be exchanged for food or drink.
- All appropriate serving ware (plates, forks, napkins, etc.)
- Booth Staff
- Hand Washing Station
- Proof of active Temporary Food Facility (TFF) Permit with the San Diego County of Environmental Health
- Fire Extinguisher
- Tent with sidewalls and serving window
- Swag/Marketing materials for your company
Event Organizers agrees to provide:
*Promotion for your BBQ/Dessert Brand
*$1 for every BBQ Token redeemed at the conclusion of the event. (Each bbq token is sold for $2.00)
*Name recognition on all applicable ads for the event including website, social, flyers etc. (not guaranteed but the sooner you sign up the better chance of inclusion)
*An award for BBQ brand and Dessert Brand that sells the most BBQ tokens.
Important: Event will start on time. BBQ Vendors are required to be ready to serve at 9:45 am. Booths must remain open for the entire duration of the event. Space reservation requires signing of this agreement and approval of application. SVBBQFest reserves the right to refuse any individual or company.
