Rosenberg(2001), E-learning is a form of long distance learning referring to the use of the internet technologies to deliver a broad array of solution that enhance knowledge and performance. It is based on three following fundamental criteria:
1. E-learning is networked which makes it capable of instant updating, storage/retrieval, distribution and sharing of instruction or information.
2. It is delivered to the end – user via a computer using standard internet technology.
3. If focuses on the broadest view of learning solutions that go beyond the traditional paradigms of training.
