2014 MLK Day of Service Registration

Mission: The MLK Day of Service is a higher education collaborative that brings college students together to learn about the beliefs, life, and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and how education is a civil right through direct service.

This year that direct service will improve the largest high school in the State of Oregon (David Douglas) and develop career and college access kits for over 7,000 high school juniors throughout the region. College students will leave a lasting impact that shows "We are the Dream!"

The 5th annual MLK Day of Service will take place Monday, January 20, 2014. The day will begin at 9:30am with a rally to provide an opportunity to reflect, celebrate, and remember Dr. King. Following the rally students will serve in the community until 2:30pm. This service day is a multi-institutional collaboration among colleges and universities and the convening organization Oregon Campus Compact. This event is one of the largest mobilizations of college students in the country on MLK Day.

If you want to bring a partner/spouse or child over the age of 6, please register them separately using this form. (Note: Formal childcare will not be provided if you select to bring your child as a participant)
