This is a list so we can keep track of those looking for a puppy and find ideal families.   We do not go in order of those added to waitlist.   Our pups go to homes where prospective families call us to let us know why we should choose them.  

We don't breed often maybe 1-2 times per year.   Please contact us no more than 3-6 months before you want a puppy in your home.    We cannot promise a puppy for a particular month or season.     If you have questions call us.  Text is fine first but we always insist on a phone call as sending a puppy off to a new home is a big responsibility for us.  We want to make sure it is a good fit.  

We remove those from this list after one year.  If you want to remain on the list please resubmit.

If you have questions about showing please contact us. Our owners genuinely enjoy the shows and are proud to have a dog that is awarded and recognized as a Champion.  Show homes are always given priority.  

Do you have a fenced or secure yard i.e. fence over 5' tall?   

Are you willing to properly exercise your Airedale puppy if you do not have a private yard?

Willing to crate train your dog? This also means you leave the house without your dog and dog stays in crate or exercise pen.  Airedales who are never left alone or without someone home will develop separation anxiety.

Are you willing to take on special grooming requirements of an Airedale? This means grooming nails twice a month.  This means hand- stripping and or clipping minimum every 10-12 weeks.

Are you willing to train your own dog or take dog training classes to socialize your dog? This does not mean sending away to be trained. This means you train your own dog.  We always prefer dogs are trained at least once in a group class.  This aids in proper socialization and a well adjusted dog.  Airedales who do not regularly interact with dogs outside their household can tend to display unwanted behaviors.

Are you willing to train your dog with only positive training methods? We do not believe in heavy handed corrections. No shock collar training.  No use of choke chains.  Bark collars and Herm Sprenger prong collars are acceptable.  Airedales respond best to creative and fun training sessions. They are not a stubborn breed but a smart one. They will do anything asked of them but you may have to find creative ways to train them.

We are always happy to discuss our dogs and speak to those interested on the phone.  We should have a good idea of what our breeding plans are and how we raise our puppies.  Please feel free to text or call if you have questions.
