A Brush With Kindness is New Orleans Habitat's home repair program.

Please fill out the form below to begin your application for home repair services. There will be a full application from our Home Repair team after this form is filled out. Homes will be assessed by Habitat after the receipt of a successfully completed application with all requested supporting documentation.

Repairs will be made on a case-by-case basis, driven by available resources and personnel, and will be restricted to the main house structure. No shed repairs will be considered.

Habitat reserves the right to request additional information before conducting a physical property assessment.

Eligibility requirements for Habitat Home Repair:
• Have a demonstrated need for health and safety repairs.
• Household gross income must be at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI).
• Be willing to partner with New Orleans Habitat, volunteers, and the community.
• You must be the homeowner, and the home must be your primary residence.
