Where are they now? Stories of the filibuster protesters.
This June will be five years since the "People's Filibuster" in Austin, Texas. For so many, this was a day that sparked a passion for activism that has lasted through the subsequent years. We're working on a project to tell the stories of this day and beyond. If you became ignited that day, we want to hear from YOU. Tell us what that day meant to you, what you're doing now, and what advice you'd give to new activists.
Where were you on the day of the filibuster?
What about that day inspired you to become active?
What are you doing now?
What words of encouragement would you give to others who are just starting to get active?
