Wisdom Of The Ages - A Project Of Killing Covid With Kindness
OU-JLIC is delighted to partner with the Met Council on Jewish Poverty for a unique inter-generational endeavor. As thousands of seniors are unable to access day centers and classes, the students, faculty, alumni and educators in the JLIC network will be providing ongoing daily classes on a range of topics . Seniors in Met Council accommodation will either call in or login online for these classes. Help us pool the talent and passion of those we know to bring it to an audience who want to hear it.
The topic of the class is up to you! Music, literature, Torah, fitness, etc-- any topic about which you are knowledgeable and passionate and that you think others would be interested in hearing about. It could be a one-off class or a series.
Once you have completed the form a Met Council or OU-JLIC member of staff will be in touch about the next stage. Selections will be made on the basis of diversity of topics and we cannot guarantee that every submission will be selected to teach. Classes will begin May 26th and run through the summer. (Just to clarify, the number of sessions you would like to offer is up to you).
