NOTICE: feedback coming in suggests that a lot of people would like to attend but they cannot fully commit to all the days that the project will run for, if you fall in this category don't worry. There are basically three phases in the execution of this project. *
Click the "YES" check boxes to acknowledge you've read the NOTICE.
Required
The event is entirely free to attend and participate. *
Required
1. Facilitator(s) training phase: The primary goal here is to train as many individuals/facilitators as we can, facilitators should preferably have  tertiary or post tertiary backgrounds. We will be training a maximum of 50 facilitators on various pedagogy, Arduino & Raspberry Pi programming(facilitators don't necessarily have to be a techie ), basic electronics, how to effectively use the Afrimaker tool box  and many more. *
Required
2. Mentorship/Workshop phase: Primary goal here is to have facilitators go out and organize workshops and teacher others more of what they have learned, with facilitators already trained, we will work closely with those that are willing to go to schools and organize workshops. Through our strict guidance and supervision, facilitators will be mentoring children between the ages of 6 -17 years (this includes primary and well as secondary) by way of projects such as paper circuits , makey makey and many more, I must say that it is heavily biased towards STEM subjects. Moving forward, an Afrimaker tool box will reside at Hub Accra, thus if any of the facilitators wants to go on and organize more workshops, they can come use the box. *
Required
3. Maker-faire phase:  We want to consolidate all our efforts here, at this phase we will gather in one place all individuals and organizations we've come in contact with as a result of phase 1 & 2,  to display items produced from our workshops, network, get feedback and generally continue towards posterity. We would be glad to provide answers to any more questions you might have. *
