HBCU-UMMS Link RSVP
Description:

Join the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) in our inaugural Historically Black College and University (HBCU)-UMMS Link networking event! The event will be a virtual session with UMMS Graduate Students and MD/PhD Students from underrepresented backgrounds who will discuss their experiences of being a person of color at UMMS and in Worcester, as well as talk about their research and how they got to where they are today. We will also discuss the different programs and research training opportunities at UMMS. This virtual networking event is a part of the HBCU-UMMS Link Program which is a program to help build strong connections between UMMS and HBCU STEM Training Programs and their students. HBCU-UMMS Link will introduce HBCU students to the fantastic Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP), Postbaccalaureate Research Education Program (PREP), Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS), and MD/PhD Program at UMMS.
