Welcome to the Gorton Drama Studio Summer Camp Scholarship application form. We are excited to provide financial assistance for our Musical Theater Summer Camp, designed to offer a transformative theater experience to drama students.
This form is intended to help us assess your financial need and your interest in participating in the program. Scholarships are available to students who qualify for the National School Lunch Program under federal guidelines.
According to the federal guidelines, your child is eligible for free school lunch, and thus the scholarship, if:
- Your annual income is $40,560 or less with a household of four.
- Your household receives benefits like EBT and cash assistance.
- Your child is in foster care, is a child of migrant workers, or is experiencing homelessness.
- Your child participates in the Head Start program.
To apply, please complete all sections of this form, including:
- Your personal information.
- Verification of eligibility for the National School Lunch Program.
- A one-sentence statement explaining why you want to attend the camp.
Selected applicants will be contacted to schedule a 15-minute video interview. During the interview, we’ll discuss your interests, and you’ll read a short monologue (memorization is not required).
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and you will be notified of the outcome by May 15, 2025.
