Script Night! Submission Guidelines
1. Make sure to list your name and screenplay title on the title page
2. File names should read: [LastName_ScriptTitle]
3. PDF files only
We will choose who to read based on first-come-first-serve then page length. If we have more submissions than we can read in one month, scripts leftover will be read and prioritized next month. You can’t change your script file after you submit. If you submit after the deadline, your submission will be reserved for next month.
Acceptable Submissions
Shorts, features, TV (half-hour and hour) pilots, and web series screenplays approximately 30 pages or less are acceptable.
Recommendation for longer form scripts: Choose an act or a scene to submit so we won’t be cut off in mid-scene or sequence of events. It may be wise to submit an act each month so your readers have context to the entire film. It could also be helpful to have your logline and genre on the title page to give context to the larger story at hand.
If you share Act II or III, a summary to catch us up would be welcomed.
If we, the organizers, find any material offensive, we reserve the right to omit your submission with an explanation. You may resubmit your material once you make changes to the offensive details noted.
