Important note: Just because you’re studying abroad doesn’t mean you can’t run for office. There are a few options:

—If you’re studying abroad in the fall, you can run as a tandem pair with someone who’s studying abroad in the spring (or vice versa). You’d each serve a semester.

—You can serve a semester term and nominate someone to replace you the other semester. That person will be subject to a vote.
