The Young Eagles club is a non-flight event designed to introduce youngsters from 12 -16 to aviation through hands on exercises, learning sessions, flight simulators and tours of aviation facilities and organizations. Regular attendance is encouraged (but not required) as each session will build of knowledge gained at previous sessions. These sessions will prepare the students to fully enjoy and participate in the young eagles flight events held in the summer. For this session we will visit the USCG Air Station Traverse City to learn about their people, mission and equipment.
