Yes, my organizations endorses a state carbon tax. The tax should be set high enough to reduce the use of greenhouse gas emissions. A significant portion of the tax or fee should be rebated to offset the regressive nature of any energy tax. The rest of the proceeds should be invested in renewable energy and conservation; infrastructure and adaptation related to climate change; and mass transit. (A107 /S2846) *
