Doing Peace by Undoing Oppressions
June 11 to 14, 2020, Bammental, Germany

The Convergence of Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT) brings activists from across Europe together for a festival of peace and justice activism. It provides an opportunity to learn from practical examples of faith-based peacebuilding work around the world. The special focus is on the work of the CPT-Aegean Migrant Solidarity team on the Greek island of Lesbos. Everyone is welcome to come and learn about the work of CPT.

The main language of the Convergence is English.

The Convergence stands in solidarity with “Stop Fuelling War” and other activists who will be protesting against the Eurosatory weapons fair in Paris from June 8 to 13th. Some of the CPT people will be travelling to Paris for those protests: We encourage everyone to learn about the work of www.stopfuellingwar.org and support their actions.
Will you attend the Paris protests?
Are you interested in group travel from Paris to Bammental on Thursday morning with the TGV (high-speed train)? We will organize this for anyone who wishes to join us.
