Thank you for applying to our 8th Makers and Merchants Event! For this event we will be closing down one section of the street (between Traverse and Brook), which will allow for tent spaces, food trucks, and beer, wine and cocktail tents! Vendors are responsible for providing their own table, tents (TENTS MUST BE WEIGHTED AND CANNOT EXCEDE 10' x 10'), chairs, and sales permit. We have extended the event to be one hour longer this round. The street is officially closed at 10am and we will be available to begin checking you in and giving you your space number at 9:30, please do not show up before that. Check in takes place in the NAVA driveway, 197 Wickenden St. (right across from Blick and next to Coffee Exchange).

There are more tent spaces than table, so if you're interested in a table space please apply sooner than later. You are also more than welcome to share a tent with another maker which makes the cost the same as having a table space. If you choose to share a tent space please only fill out one application and just list both makers within that.

All participants will be expected to be set up 15 minutes before the event begins and are required to stay for the entire length of the event. Everyone is also required to have vendors permit from the City of Providence (you must get this prior to the event from the city) and a sales permit, although we will provide the sales permit the morning of the event (for $10) please try to apply for yours ahead of time.

We will respond to all applications by Friday, April 19th (at the latest) to let you know if you have been accepted. We do anticipate getting more applications than ever for this upcoming event so apply as soon as possible. Please do not submit payment prior to receiving your acceptance email. Once you've received your confirmation email payment is due immediately to reserve your space. If you do not pay for your space within 48 hours after receiving your confirmation email your spot will no longer be guaranteed. If you change your mind, or do not show up for the event payments will not be refunded.

Please also keep in mind that this is a rain or shine event. All of the permits, insurance and police detail are paid for in advance and cannot be transferred to a different day. No refund will be given if the event is cancelled due to weather. We just have to hope for the best!
