2024–25 Exhibit Columbus Community Partner Interest Form

Exhibit Columbus—Columbus, Indiana’s annual exploration of community, architecture, art, and design—is hosting an Open Call for Community Partners to co-participate in the fifth cycle titled, Yes And, which is an effort to work from existing material to shape positive change. Each Exhibit Columbus (EC) cycle is reinvented and this cycle we are excited to more deeply and directly connect EC participants to local partners.

About the Open Call for Community Partners

We invite Columbus-based organizations and/or businesses to submit a statement of interest to be an Exhibit Columbus Community Partner and to host a University Design Research Fellows (UDRF) and/or a High School Design Team (HSDT) Installation. As a Community Partner, the organization/business entity will act as a “client” in coordination with the Exhibit Columbus Curatorial Team, Landmark Columbus Foundation Staff, and UDRF/HSDT participant.

This installation could be at or near the organization/business’s downtown location. If the entity is not located downtown, the installation could be located at a collaborating site downtown. After the close of the exhibition, there is potential for the installation to be relocated.

Before completing the interest form, please review the following expectations. We hope to have a partnership with you that includes:

About the Partnership

  • Excitement for and engagement with the Exhibit Columbus team, program, and cycle;

  • Provide a dedicated person(s) within the organization/business who can serve as the point of contact throughout the full cycle of the exhibition;

  • Attend meetings with UDRF/HSDT participants;

  • Attend and potentially participate in the following Exhibit Columbus events:

    • 2024 Symposium: October 24-25, 2024

    • 2025 Design Presentations: February 21-22, 2025

    • 2025 Opening Weekend: August 14-17, 2025

    • Closing of the Exhibition: End of November 2025

  • Support the creation of events, created by your organization and/or other community partners throughout the three-months of the exhibition (August-November); 

  • Assist with thinking about and securing a location for the installation after the exhibition.

The interest forms are due by August 31, 2024.

About Exhibit Columbus

Exhibit Columbus is a program of Landmark Columbus Foundation and an exploration of community, architecture, art, and design that activates the modern legacy of Columbus, Indiana. It creates a two-year cycle of programming that uses the context of Columbus to convene conversations around innovative ideas and then commissions site-responsive installations to create a free, public exhibition that demonstrates the power of art and architecture to make cities better places to live for everyone.
