Describe a topic you really care about and have special knowledge of or want to learn more about. *
After searching carefully online, give the name and link to at least one blog that focuses on your interest where you could learn and also share about it online and contribute to your positive digital footprint. Make sure that you find a blog about the topic, not just one article or posting.
Here are some sites  to search for blogs: http://alltop.com/, http://blogs.botw.org/, http://www.blogsearchengine.org, http://www.blogcatalog.com/category  Here is an article listing other places to search for blogs:http://mashable.com/2011/04/11/blog-discovery/
Imagine that you are writing your own blog or creating a website about your interest and want to include a picture/graphic to help illustrate something about it. Find a Creative Commons-licensed image you could use. Share the link to the image here. Make sure that you find and use a short link.
Here are some ways to search for Creative Commons-licensed images: Google images search, use the Search Tools -> Usage Rights option, http://Flickr.com using the License filter option. Another is http://search.creativecommons.org/. For more options, visit this page on the library website: http://www.mchslibrary.org/images-and-sounds.html. Double-check that the image you found has a Creative Commons license. It will say: "Some rights reserved." "All rights reserved" images are copyrighted and NOT okay to use in published works without permission from the copyright holder.
Post a comment on a blog or website. Share the link to your comment here.
Find people to follow on Twitter. Share the handle (@accountname) for at least two accounts you could follow to learn more about your interest.
If you have a Twitter account, log in. If not, go to http://search.twitter.com. Look for people with expertise in your area of interest.
