Process Info
Step 1:  Tell us what you are thinking about vending in the form below. Please include any relevant links and images. This will help us understand how your item(s) will fit into the machines.

Step 2:  Package a sample. Using the packaging info in the next section - please create a mock up of your item. We have lots of recommendations on cost effective, eco friendly ways to package - email me steph@goodthingsvending.com with any questions!

Step 3:  Get the sample to us!

** please make sure the sample includes your name and contact info as submitted in the application **

Samples can either be mailed to our HQ:

If you would like your sample returned to you please include a return envelope with address and postage.

Step 4: Stock em!

If the sample item is a fit we like to start with 10 - 20 of an item, this generally fills a whole row and gives us a good chance to see how they move. Once we confirm the item is stock ready we will send you another form to fill out for payment info and inventory tracking.

Payment for your items will be sent when items are sold out.

If items do not sell in a few months we may send remaining items back with payment for any sold.

You can pull your work at any time.

Packaging Info
Our machines are built to fit snacks and candy so when thinking about sizing this is a good place to start. We refer to chip slots as "large" and candy slots as "small". Below are the general sizes for those two slots.

Small Slot (think bag of M&Ms)

Best size:

2.25 w x 4.5 h

Vendable Range

Width: 2" - 2.5"

Height: 4" - 5.5"

Depth - .5" - 1.5"

Large Slot (think bag of chips)

Best Size:

4.75" w x 5.5" h

Vendable Range:

Width: 4.5 - 5"

Height: 4" - 6"

Depth - .5" - 1.5"

Other packaging notes*

THIS SECTION IS REALLY IMPORTANT

- Package must be clearly labeled with your info and the product info. Items are only seen through glass so packaging clearly and in an on brand manner is vital! It both makes your goods stand out and ensures people know who to come back to for more work they love! Feel free to include an insert or business card with more info about you or your work.

- Item should be on a stiff backing. This can be chip board, recycled card board, or even sturdy card stock. This ensures the items sits in the coils well and can vend properly. Overall you want the item to be about as thick as corrugated card board.

- Items should be heavy enough to fall straight down when dropped. If an item is light weight we have added pennies, candy and business info to the package to increase the weight.

- Items should be packed with smooth sides and no loose parts to make sure it doesn't get caught on the coils as it falls. We love clearbags.com for this reason but there are tons of ways to achieve this.

- If you are workshopping your items packaging feel free to email me images for feedback. I can usually give some guidance digitally.

What happens next?

Next we wait for space in the machine to open up. This happens when previously stocked goods sell out or new machines are launched. New goods are considered when space becomes available and we will reach out to those whose work would fit in the available space. We are a small team and appreciate your patience!

Our machines are curated to have a wide range of product types and prices and the goods are selected to fit in each unique location. If we are not able to accommodate your proposed work please know it is not a judgment on your work’s quality. Application are rolling and we encourage you to reapply with other work in the future.
