Scholarship Application for Creative Adventures Summer Camp 2025
Thank you for your interest in being apart of the heARTful Kids community. We strive to make our programs accessible to all and have created this scholarship program in an attempt to support that. If you have any further questions, you can reach out to us at hello@weareheartfulkids.com.

Scholarship Overview: 
Due to the high overhead of running a camp in the Bay Area, we are only able to offer a limited number of scholarships per camp session. These spaces are filled on a first come, first served basis using a model adapted by embracingequity.org. 

Below you will have the opportunity to select which scholarship level you are eligible for based on the Embracing Equity scale. If the spaces for that scholarship have been filled, you will be offered the next available tier until all spaces have been filled. We support you in for advocating for your needs and ask that you provide an accurate representation of your current financial situation to provide equitable access for those who need it.

Tier 1) High Financial Privilege + Personal Finance Experience: 
Standard Camp Cost= $550 per session

  • I am comfortably able to meet all of my basic needs.
  • I may have some debt but it does not prohibit attainment of basic needs.
  • I have plenty of expendable income.

Tier 2) Limited Financial Privilege + Personal Finance Experience:
Partial Scholarship = $425 per session

  • I may stress about meeting my basic needs but still regularly achieve them.
  • I may have some debt but it does not prohibit attainment of basic needs.
  • I have some expendable income.

Tier 3) Low Financial Privilege + Personal Finance Experience: 
Full Scholarship = $295 per session

  • I frequently stress about meeting basic needs & don’t always achieve them.
  • I have debt and it sometimes prohibits me from meeting my basic needs.
  • I have very little expendable income.

Basic Needs: includes food, housing, and transportation.

Expendable Income: includes the ability to purchase  food or beverage whilst out, attend entertainment events, buy new clothes, books, and “wants” every month.
