Western District Leadership Council Application
Thank you for your interest in running for the SHAPE America Western District Leadership Council.  The WD is currently looking to appoint a President-elect, two Members at Large, and one Future Professional (either undergraduate or graduate student member). Please see the terms of office for the District Leadership Council:

  1. Terms of Office:

    1. District Leadership Council Presidents: The District Presidents serve 3-year terms, one year as District President-elect, one year as District President and one year as District Past President. In the event that the President is unable to complete his/her term, the District President-elect will fulfill the unexpired term. 

    2. At-large District Leadership Council Members (6):

      1. 5 Professional Council Members serve two-year terms, with 3 Council Members elected in odd years and 2 in even years.

      2. Future Professional (1): Each District determines the election/selection process for the Future Professional Leadership Council member. The Future Professional Leadership Council member serves a one-year term with the option of a second year.
