JAFFA, Pacers and Striders 5k Track Race Registration Form. Monday 14th September 2015

This is the entry for for the second fixture of the inter club track 5k races between Bury Pacers, Ipswich JAFFA and Stowmarket Striders. The first race was held at Northgate, Ipswich in June and the second race will be held at Bury St. Edmunds (West Suffolk Athletics Track, Bury St Edmunds Leisure Centre, IP33 3TT) on the 14th September 2015.
The race will be open to Bury Pacers, Ipswich JAFFA and Stowmarket Striders members only and will be free to enter.
Club kit should be worn. Numbers and chips will be supplied on race day
There will be 3 races, all open events, i.e. for both male and females:
Race 1 at 7 pm – Sub 19 minutes – Max 60 entries (20 per club)
Race 2 at 7:25 – 19 to 23 minutes – Max 60 entries (20 per club)
Race 3 at 7:55 – Over 23 minutes – Max 60 entries (20 per club)
All the races will be chip timed, with a gun start (so the chip mats will be on the finishing line)
In view of the limited capacity of the track, there will be a cap on numbers of 60 in each race, with each club receiving an initial allocation of 20 runners per event. If the full allocation is not used by any Club then the spare entries will be shared by the other clubs. Entry for Ipswich JAFFA RC members will be strictly online through this form and be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Entries close on Thursday 3rd September 2015.
The Club Captains will have ultimate authority on who runs in which race, based on recent performances. In other words someone with a PB of 22 minutes will not be able to run in the sub 19 minute event, but could participate in the final race.
The races are scheduled so that we have the fastest race first with some knowledge of expected finishing times which makes it easier to plan the subsequent events
Runners can provide their own spotters to lap count if they wish otherwise it is up to the runners to ensure they run the correct number of laps.
