Dear Parents:
The Child Development classes of West Chicago Community High School (326 Joliet St West Chicago IL 60185) will be planning and running a preschool lab program during February to May. A child attending needs to be close to being potty-trained and between the ages of 2 ½  and 5.   The cost is $200 total for the entire twelve week program (or $225 late fee if registered after the first day of preschool on February 6, 2024).  A check is to be written out to “WCCHS" (West Chicago Community High School)  or paid electronically via the school's webstore (the link will be provided to enrolled families).THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON FEES.
There is ONE session for spring semester:
Days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays 
Preschool dates & time: 
12:30 pm-2:05 pm February 6, 2024-May 2, 2024
Wildcat Preschool will provide a snack. 
Orientation Day
On Thursday, February 1, 2024 the child and caregiver should arrive at 11:30 am-12:15 pm to have their picture taken for security purposes. 
Procedures will be explained to the parents and child that day regarding the daily routine.  Including:
1.
	Checking in with security at entrance “H”.  (Park in visitor space.)
2.
	Picking up parking sign to display in your window.
3.     Proceeding to room 1522, the preschool room.
4.
	Washing your child's hands.
5.
	Hanging up coats/boots.
6.
	Staying with the child until the students arrive.
If needed there is an observation room to see how your child is adjusting while you are out of the room.
There is a full time nurse in the building if any health concerns arise.  The school does not administer any medications and is not responsible for medication.
During preschool there are 8-10 high school-aged students running the preschool under the supervision of the 
classroom teacher, Mrs. Bauer.  All activities will be on school grounds for this session.
